Deer Control |
|
| |
|
| The Problem |
There are a number of Deer species
living in the UK and they can cause damage to crops
and forestry. In this area there are Red, Sika, and Roe Deer
which can all cause damage through grazing. Roe Deer commonly
cause damage to garden plants and shrubs. |
| |
| The Solution |
Deer can be culled by shooting.
This is an effective method of control but can only take place
on large areas of ground and with the permission of the landowner
or whoever has the shooting rights. In a suburban situation,
culling deer by shooting is unlikely to be appropriate. Fencing
is probably the only effective management option. |
